1. General Provisions
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the IT JobHunter platform (the website it-jobhunter.com, including mobile and desktop interfaces, the Telegram bot @IT_JobHunter_bot, and all related services — together the "Service").
The Service is provided by Maksym Chukhrai, an individual ("we", "us", "Seller"). By registering and using the Service, you ("User", "you") agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of the Terms, please do not use the Service.
Use of the Service is permitted for individuals aged 16 and older. If you are under 16, you may not use the Service.
2. Service Description
IT JobHunter is a SaaS platform (software as a service) for automating the IT job search. The Service:
- Aggregates job listings from public sources (APIs, RSS, public job listing pages) — Djinni, DOU, LinkedIn, Welcome to the Jungle, and others
- Ranks job listings individually for each user based on their own resume, skills, and specified search criteria — the algorithm evaluates job relevance for the individual user's own benefit, and does not evaluate or categorize the user for employers or any third parties
- Generates personalized cover letters using artificial intelligence based on the user's resume and the job listing text
- Provides a tool for tracking the status of submitted applications (application tracker, Kanban board)
- Sends notifications via email and Telegram
IT JobHunter is NOT a job board. We do not accept job postings from employers, do not charge employers, and do not act as an intermediary between an employer and a candidate. We sell software to users — job seekers — not recruitment services.
We separately and explicitly confirm:
- We do NOT provide consulting or HR services. All functionality of the Service (job matching, cover letter generation, application tracking) is implemented solely through software — no person on behalf of IT JobHunter participates in candidate selection, interviews, or employment decisions regarding the user.
- The Service is not a marketplace. We do not accept payment from employers and do not process payments between users of the Service — the only commercial interaction within the platform is: user ↔ IT JobHunter (subscription payment).
- We do not publish job postings on behalf of employers and do not provide advertising services. The job listings shown to a user are aggregated, personally ranked content from public sources (APIs, RSS from public job listing pages), not paid advertising placement ordered and paid for by an employer.
3. Account and Subscription
Registration via Google or GitHub OAuth is required to use paid features of the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
The Service offers the following pricing plans:
- Trial — free, 7 days, limited functionality
- Pro — paid monthly subscription with full access to features
- Additional plans may appear and change — current information is always available on the /pricing page
The subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled by the user. Cancellation is available at any time through the user dashboard (/settings) and takes effect at the end of the current paid period — access to paid features remains available until the end of the already paid month.
Prices are listed in US dollars (USD) and are subject to change. Users are notified in advance of any price change to an active subscription.
4. Payment and Refunds
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers — Paddle (as merchant of record) for card payments, and NOWPayments for cryptocurrency payments (USDT). We do not store your card details — they are processed directly by the payment provider.
IT JobHunter offers a free 7-day trial period (0 USD) — access to paid features without any charge. The first payment is charged only after the trial period ends, provided the user has not cancelled the subscription.
Money-back guarantee: within 7 days of the first charge, the user may request a full refund for any reason by emailing support@it-jobhunter.com. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the same payment method used for the original payment.
Cancelling a subscription is available at any time through the user dashboard (/settings) and takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically refund the already paid period — access remains available until the end of the paid month, and funds for the used period are not refunded (except as covered by the 7-day refund window above).
5. User Data
By using the Service, you upload your resume and provide personal data (skills, work experience, search criteria). This data is used solely to power the job-matching algorithms and to generate cover letters for you personally.
A detailed description of how we process, store, and protect your data is provided in a separate Privacy Policy (/privacy).
You remain the owner of your data (resume, application history) and may delete your account and all associated data at any time via /settings.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is". We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of job matching and the quality of generated content, but we do not guarantee:
- That any specific job listing will result in employment
- The accuracy or timeliness of job data obtained from external sources (employers may close listings or change terms without our knowledge)
- That an AI-generated cover letter will be free of errors — we recommend always reviewing generated content before sending it to an employer
The Service's maximum liability to the user is limited to the amount paid by the user for the subscription over the last 3 months.
We are not liable for the actions of third parties (employers, payment providers, external job data sources).
7. Termination of Access
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a user's access to the Service in case of violation of these Terms, including:
- Attempts at automated mass scraping of the Service beyond the provided functionality
- Fraudulent activity, including in relation to payments (multiple chargebacks, abuse of the money-back guarantee)
- Transferring account access to third parties
The user may delete their account at any time via /settings. Data is deleted according to the timelines specified in the Privacy Policy.
