AI Terms of Use

1. Which AI Models Are Used

IT JobHunter uses third-party artificial intelligence services to provide job-matching and cover letter generation features:

• Google Gemini
• Anthropic Claude
• Groq (inference platform for fast request processing)

The specific provider for each request is selected automatically by the system based on load and task type (job matching versus cover letter text generation) — this is a technical detail of the Service's operation that does not affect the quality or confidentiality of the result.

2. What Is Shared with AI

To power AI features, we send the following to the respective providers:

• Fragments of your resume text (skills, experience) — to evaluate job relevance
• The text of the job listing for which a cover letter is being generated
• Your search criteria (as needed for generation context)

We do not share your contact details (email, phone), payment information, or application tracker history with AI providers — only the content required for the specific request (job scoring / letter generation).

3. What Is NOT Retained by Providers

Under commercial API usage terms (business/API tier, not consumer chatbot versions), data sent to AI providers via the API is by default not used to train their models and is not retained by the provider longer than necessary to process the request (per the respective provider's policies at the time of the request).

4. BYOK — Responsibility for Your Own Key

If you use the BYOK feature (Bring Your Own Key — your own API key for an AI provider instead of the one built into the Service), you are solely responsible for:

• The terms of use and limits set directly by your key's provider
• API usage costs charged directly to you by your key's provider
• The confidentiality and security of the key itself

IT JobHunter is not responsible for the actions, pricing, or availability of a third-party AI provider when using BYOK.

5. Accuracy of AI Results

AI results (job match scoring, generated cover letters) do not guarantee employment and may contain inaccuracies inherent to large language model (LLM) technology. We recommend always:

• Reviewing a generated cover letter before sending it to an employer
• Treating the job match score as a guideline, not a final decision

6. Usage Restrictions

It is prohibited to use the Service's AI features to:

• Generate content that violates the rights of third parties (plagiarizing someone else's resume, impersonating another person)
• Make mass automated calls to AI features outside the provided interface (bypassing rate limits)
