1. Purpose of This Document
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using the IT JobHunter Service. It supplements the Terms of Service (/terms) and applies to everyone who uses the Service, regardless of plan.
Violation of this Policy may result in a warning, temporary restriction of functionality, or full account suspension without a refund for the already paid period.
2. Prohibited Actions
By using the Service, you agree NOT to do the following:
- Automated mass access beyond the provided functionality — using bots, scripts, or other automated means to mass-scrape, copy, or extract Service data (job listings, generated content) in a way that goes beyond normal use of the interface or the official API (if separately provided)
- Transferring account access to third parties — an account is personal; selling, renting, or sharing a single account among multiple people is not permitted
- Attempting to bypass limits and protective mechanisms — including bypassing rate limits on AI features (cover letter generation, scoring), attempting to automate mass calls to AI features
- Fraudulent payment activity — abusing the money-back guarantee (for example, repeatedly registering new accounts to obtain additional free trial periods or repeated refunds), initiating unjustified chargebacks without first contacting support
- Uploading false or misleading data — including a resume that impersonates another real person, or that knowingly contains false information intended to manipulate the matching algorithm
- Using the Service for illegal activity — any use that violates applicable law in Ukraine, the EU, or the user's country of residence
- Attempting reverse engineering of the job-matching algorithms or other internal mechanisms of the Service in order to build a competing product
3. What Is Permitted
For the avoidance of doubt, the following is permitted use of the Service:
- Normal use of the interface to browse matched job listings, generate cover letters, and manage the application tracker
- Use of the Service's official API (if and when provided), within documented limits
- Connecting your own AI provider API key via the BYOK feature (see AI Terms of Use, /ai-terms)
4. Consequences of Violation
Depending on the nature of the violation, we may:
- Send a warning requesting that the relevant action stop
- Temporarily restrict access to specific features (for example, AI generation)
- Suspend or fully block the account
Blocking decisions are made carefully, taking into account the nature and frequency of the violation. Funds for an already paid period are not refunded in the event of a block for violating this Policy (except where covered by the Refund Policy (/terms#payment) within the 7-day window).
5. Reporting Violations
If you witness a violation of this Policy by another user, or believe your account was blocked in error, contact support@it-jobhunter.com.
6. Contacts and Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notification within the Service.
